My Christmas Mantle!!!

When you live in a teeny tiny "tree house" but your dream is to have a beautiful mantle to decorate with the christmas stockings you just made for your kiddos so your stud of a husband literally builds the most amazing mantle and makes all your christmas dreams come true… 

… yep… I'm a happy lady!

My hubs found this rad chunk of wood (that by ring counting is at least 150 years old) on some property that he was working on and the owner let him bring it home! We went to Home Depot and grabbed the other materials and he went to work last night and made this for me! Eeeeep!!

I love unfinished, shabby, full of character pieces and this is just perfect!
