Hold the boundaries lines

“Go from the presence of a foolish man, when you do not perceive in him the lips of knowledge.”

Proverbs 14:7

Be careful who you allow to impact the closest parts of your heart and life and family. You can be kind to everyone while having BOUNDARIES at the same time.

I’ve learned this the hard way.

It’s so good to have boundaries and use discernment when it comes to who we allow to have input in our lives AND IN OUR KIDS’ LIVES.

As parents it’s our job to protect them, guide them, surround them, pray over them and teach them healthy boundaries by doing it for them until they know how to do it on their own.

This includes family, church friends, neighbors, school friends, anybody.

I would also add in social media boundaries and hands on guidance with lots of conversations and accountability.

Be alert.

Be prayerful.

Hold the boundary lines.

Seek the Lord and ask Him to give you wisdom and discernment.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8
