For the moms!! I’m challenge you to 30 Days of Wellness!!
Hi friends!
I have something really exciting I want to invite you to!
But let me start by saying this…
In the last 20 years of mothering I've seen mother after mother (myself included) get lost in it all, discouraged, depressed, feel unrecognizable to who we once were, with physically inflamed and uncomfortable bodies. We can prioritize everyone else while neglecting ourselves. We serve without filling up first. We hide from showing people who God really made us to be because we aren’t even sure who we are anymore. We can become isolated, beat down, struggle with mom-guilt and fall into the comparison trap that leads to jealousy and idolatry.
But there is a better way.
And I want to challenge you to step into your life and find health, strength and joy in your mind, body and spirit.
The better we take care of our whole-body health, the better we take care of our family. It all impacts each other.
My dad died at 45.
He missed all the big moments... graduations, weddings, grandchildren, adult children.
He didn't have to die the way he did. It was incredibly traumatizing to experience as a child. One of my greatest prayers and goals in life is to be a major part of the lives of my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I pray I'm able to see as many future generations as possible. And not just to be alive but to be strong and full of life and health so that I can invest into them, not be a burden on them due to poor health.
That starts now. That starts in the daily habits today that are repeated over and over.
Time in God's Word.
Exercise.
Nutrition.
Mindset.
Discipline.
Rest.
Joy.
I BELIEVE THE TOP 3 DEFICIENCIES MOMS EXPERIENCE ARE:
- Lack of movement
- Lack of nutrients
- Lack of the Word of God
I’m my personal experience, all three of these areas need to be working properly together to be at our best. When one is off, it impacts the rest. When we are intentional about all three, not only does it bless us as mothers but it pours out and blesses our families and those around us.
As we enter into the most SPECIAL TIME OF YEAR, let’s invest in our health mentally, physically, and spiritually to feel our very best so that we can give our very best to our family.
Introducing 30 Days of Wellness:
a gentle approach to whole-body health for Christian moms

It matters so much.
We are temples of the living God.
Our children need us strong.
Our grandchildren and great grandchildren need us strong.
This is how we impact the nations with the gospel of Jesus for generations to come.
Steward your body in honor of the price Jesus paid for it.
