30 Days of Wellness Resource Kit
30 Days of Wellness Resource Kit
This is a gentle approach to whole-body health for Christian moms.
“He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.”
–Isaiah 40:11 ESV
It’s so important to prioritize our whole body health: spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.

THE 3 DEFICIENCIES MOMS EXPERIENCE
Lack of the Word of God
Lack of nutrients
Lack of movement
Let’s fix this!
In these 30 days I am going to be challenging you to listen to the Word of God morning and night, to give your body the nutrients it needs, and to move your body. This doesn’t have to be something difficult or that takes you away from your family. This is an opportunity to grow stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually. My hope is that this will help you be a stronger mother and christian and set an example for your children for generations to come.
The Word of God
We will guard our minds, our thoughts and our words during this challenge by:
Listening To The Bible
I want you to be reading and meditating on the Word of God every day–morning and night. This is a nonnegotiable part of this challenge. If we are wanting to guard our thoughts and have our minds and thinking renewed each day, then we need to be reading and listening to the Bible daily and allowing the perfect work of the Holy Spirit to transform our minds which overflows into everything else.
I want to challenge you to use the YouVersion Bible App. This is a free app where you can read the Bible on any of your devices. You can even listen to the audio version of the Bible. This is wonderful if you are in a busy season or have littles and can’t get a dedicated alone time in the Word. You can listen first thing in the morning, when doing dishes, folding laundry, making food, and before you go to sleep.
This has been a game changer.
Don’t know where to start?
A frequently asked question I get is: “Where do you start in the Bible?” Here are a few books I recommend to get you started (or just continue reading where you are now). I recommend reading through a whole book and not just picking a random chapter. That way you can be consistent in reading a book and following a central story to get a full picture of what you are reading.
Matthew
Mark
Luke
John
Psalm
Proverbs
Ephesians
Not complaining or mom shaming
In this challenge we are not going to be complaining. We are not going to be speaking badly about others or about ourselves (no body-shaming/mom-shaming self talk allowed). I want to help you on this journey of whole-body health and growing closer in your relationship with the Lord. This isn’t a challenge to make you feel guilty or less than. This is an opportunity to become a stronger and healthier mother and Christian.
Movement
We will be moving and taking care of our bodies each day by:
Walking 5,000 steps
In this challenge, I want you to be moving your body. This doesn’t have to be really hard or strenuous. This can be as simple as taking a gentle 15 minute walk three times a day (or after each meal).
The goal is to walk 5,000 steps a day (about a 45 minute walk). This is perfect if you are just beginning or have limited time.
Feeling Extra?
If you are more advanced, go for 10,000+ steps a day (which can be broken up throughout the day).
Grab a weighted vest if you’re feeling extra.
Nutrients
As mamas it is easy for us to make sure our children are eating well and being given all the nutrients they need (even when you are pregnant and nursing, you are giving nutrients and helping keep your little one alive). How often do you forget to make sure you are well fed? Do you make sure you are supplementing yourself with the nutrients your body may be lacking?
The goal is to flood our bodies with the best minerals and whole-food supplements to give our bodies the building blocks needed to have the energy to not only give our best to our families but to feel our best too.

Stress Away
The holidays can feel crazy and overwhelming at times but thankfully we have a solution to help calm our bodies, emotions and minds.
The Stress Away blend contains a unique combination of essential oils, each contributing to its overall effect:
Lime: Provides a bright, uplifting, and zesty citrus note.
Vanilla: Offers a warm, comforting, and sweet aroma.
Copaiba: Known for its beneficial properties when applied topically.
Lavender: Widely recognized for its calming scent that can help soothe the nervous system.
Cedarwood: Features the plant constituent cedrol, known for its comforting and grounding aroma and ability to induce relaxation.
Ocotea: An exotic, unique Ecuadorian-sourced oil that complements the other scents.
Add Stress Away to your daily routine. Have it by your bed at night and keep it in your pocket throughout the day to use it as often as you want. Roll over your chest, wrists and hands to then breathe it in a few times. It helps to calm the nervous system, reduce cortisol levels and calm big feelings.
5. BONUS POINTS
Water
Drinking water provides numerous benefits, including regulating body temperature, aiding digestion, and supporting kidney function by flushing out waste. It also helps energize muscles and can improve skin health by maintaining moisture and helps maintain its protective barrier. Dehydration can lead to unclear thinking, mood changes, and overheating. Drinking water prevents this by replenishing fluids lost through sweat.
Drink more water. Bonus points for adding in just a pinch of sea salt or pink Himalayan salt for boosted hydration.
Limit inflammatory and processed foods
Limit or avoid all processed sugar and anything inflammatory to your body.
Example of foods you can limit or avoid:
White flours
Empty carbs
Processed foods
Dairy
Gluten
White sugar
Seed oils
Refined sugars
Additives and food coloring
We want to reduce inflammation and give our bodies real God made foods that will support us, not hurt us.
Eating whole foods
We want to eat real God made foods. Try eating as close to how God made things as possible. Real foods that are not processed but are homemade (or at least made from real foods). The goal is to get nutrients from whole, natural sources, which can lead to improved energy, a stronger immune system, and support for weight management.
Add in
Good fats (olive oil, coconut oil, real butter, avocados)
Solid proteins (chicken, beef, eggs, fish, beans).
Fermented foods (greek yogurt, sourdough bread, kombucha).
Grains (oats, brown rice, quinoa)
Leafy greens
Whole fruits
