Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed...

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!”

Lamentations 3:22-24

This past month the Lord has poured out His mercies on us so that we are not consumed. He has brought hope. He has redeemed. He has given second chances. He has answered prayers. Big prayers. I'm so thankful. He is constantly reminding me of how BIG He is and that life can change in a moment. Knowing how quickly things can change gives me peace to not stress of the future because everything that I think might happen could be completely different by the time whatever I am stressing about actually arrives. (does that make sense?) Things can change so quickly sometimes and God can do anything. Anytime I start to feel stressed or overwhelmed I try to refocus my mind on God's Word, on truth and on Who God is. I love being outside and seeing God's creation because it helps me to see beyond my own life and to remember that the Lord is so much bigger and greater and ABLE to handle anything and everything.

I'm still sick and feel pretty yucky so I'm going to sign off for the night.
