daily documenting #livingoutluke252

Here’s a little peek into my set up this morning. I typically have my iced black coffee and bibles while sitting in bed next to two sleeping babies. I look forward to this time every day. And then after putting babies to bed at night I get back in this cozy spot and listen to more Bible on audio with a heating pad on my tummy and oils diffusing next to me until I fall asleep. Heaven, I tell ya! The best! 🙌🏼
I’ll even dream about the Bible and wake up with so many scriptures flooding my mind. It’s so life giving! It’s quite the contrast from what I did before watching Netflix crime shows before bed and then having nightmares. 🫠

I listen to the ESV audio Bible and if I can, I’ll also either read along in my Bible or I’ll have my iPad open with the free app from @youversion and follow along there.
When I’m next to sleeping babies I’ll use my iPad because my Bible pages tend to wake little ones up.

Best tip:
Get the Bible in you anyway you can! Listen while you’re sitting in bed, holding babies, nursing, cleaning, working out, cooking or driving. There’s so much time we can listen and soak it up.
It’s a gift to your own heart and soul and it will overflow and bless your home and family and everything you do.

If you want to raise godly children in the world, it starts with us as mothers setting the example and teaching them how to have a relationship with Jesus. Discipling your children in following Him is the greatest honor that will impact generations to come.

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
Deuteronomy 6:5-9
